30 and Fabulous!

Well I have officially said goodbye to my 20s. The last 10 years were full of fun times with friends, heartaches, tears of sadness, tears of joy, falling in love with my amazing husband, becoming a mother to my beautiful Aria and so much more. Life doesn't always turn out how you expect it to. When I was little, I thought 30 was "so old" and I'd have 4 children by now. God had another plan, a better one for me. I said goodbye to 29 and hello to 30 by celebrating with my closest friends. It was a great night and I had so much fun. Here's a look at my oufit! 06182012023 What I'm wearing: Tank from Zara BCBG bandage skirt Christian Louboutin Batik Python Lady Peeps Can't help but share a pic from hubby's first Father's Day and Aria's first time at the beach :) 06182012043 xoxo

Last Night Out, New Year's Eve...Maternity Chic 35 weeks

Hello fashion lovers, please accept my apology...this post is 2 weeks late! New Year's Eve was officially my last night out in heels. I'm pretty proud that I lasted 35 weeks and know it will be just a little while longer until I'm back in my heels pushing baby girl's stroller.
I'm currently half way through my 37th week and baby girl can come at any time now. We just have to wait and see when she wants to say hello to the world :) Hubs and I just can't wait to see her little face and hold her in our arms.
In the mean time, here is a glimpse of what 35 weeks in 150mm heels looks like...

Maternity Chic...24 Weeks

Last weekend, I did something I haven't done in months...I went out two nights in a row! By Sunday I was ready to collapse, but it was all worth it. We had a really fun weekend celebrating with friends.

Friday night was our best man's birthday at a bar in Hollywood (I'm drawing a blank on the name of the place). It has been sooooo long since I've been out that way, that I forgot how little girls wear to go out clubbing. Not that I didn't do the same, but I swear my skirts were never THAT short! I was quite covered up compared to some of the girls I saw around, but I still think I looked pretty hot for 24 weeks pregnant :)

What I'm wearing:
BCBG leather jacket
Tart tank
David Lerner maternity leggings (best investment ever!)
Louis Vuitton epi clutch
Christian Louboutin beige Yolanda Spikes

Saturday night we went to our friends' wedding. It was a lot of fun to see so many of our friends and to just be out all dressed up. I give myself major credit for wearing heels two nights in a row, but after standing and dancing for the better part of 8 hours I was done for. My poor feet could not take another minute.

Oh and I got a haircut! It's a little too short, but at the rate my hair is growing at these days it will be half way down my back again soon.

On the Catwalk...End of Summer

Hi everyone! So as I was trying to figure out which Fall trends a baby bump can be incorporated into, I realized I never shared Catwalk photos of our annual end of Summer Labor Day weekend trip to Palm Springs. It was boiling hot and all I can say is thank God the pool was about ten steps away from out patio or else I would have never been able to make it work.
It was a fun weekend with family and friends; even more exciting to think that next year we will our little monkey with us! (Yes we call the baby "monkey" much to my mother's dismay)

I must say at 18 weeks pregnant I feel pretty great! Let's hope it continues!

Here are my looks from the weekend...

I have to admit I have been having a hard time with blogging lately. I don't want to turn this into a Mommy Blog, but the truth is I am going to be a Mommy in a few short months. I do promise to post more often and I hope all of you will enjoy my "Mama on the Catwalk Looks". One thing is certain you wont see this Mama wearing a Muumuu!

And of course, there will always be fabulous footwear...

On the Catwalk...Mother's Day Lunch

After spending most of the weekend sick in bed, I can't believe I had any energy to get dressed and go out to Mother's Day lunch. But if anything can motivate me to get up it's a new dress, my favorite shoes and food. Oh ya and my two fabulous moms, two sweet grandmas, two loving dads and a fabulous hubby :)

Do you guys like my new silver poufs in the living room? I have been wanting poufs to bring some Middle Eastern flare into this room for awhile now. But at $300-$500 each, I always found better use for the money. Well TARGET decided to make my wish come true! These two poufs are from the Calyspo St. Barths for Target Collection and at $59.99 each, they are a steal!

What I'm wearing:
DVF Broken Waves dress
Christian Louboutin Madame Butterfly Booties

I'm still getting over a cold and my head feels like it's going to explode. Major things happening in my life in the next week. If all 67 of you blog followers and all of you 1000+ twitter follwers could please add me to your prayers, I'd be forever thankful. I wouldn't ask if I did't need it, but I really really do...

On the Catwalk...Wedding Season is Here!

Hello Loves! It's my favorite time of year again, that's right Wedding Season has started earlier this year. This past Saturday was the first of five weddings we have coming up and also one fabulous engagement party :) I'm very happy and thankful that our lives are filled with such joyous and loving occasions.
Most of you know that I have not been feeling like my fabulous self lately, probably since the beginning of the year I have felt like a crazy person has taken over my body and my mind. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my own skin and that definitely takes a toll on my emotional state of mind.
With that said, doing one of my favorite activities (dressing up) was not as fun as it use to be. I have until July for this feeling to pass, just in time for my bestie's engagement party and two fabulous weddings.
In the mean time, here are some pics of my Catwalk look from Saturday night...

On the Catwalk...TGIF

Happy Friday everyone! So sorry for the LONG delay with blog posts around here. I haven't really gone anywhere and I have also not felt very camera ready. Hopefully that will change soon, one way or another.

We celebrated hubby's birthday at the end of March and while I was not in the mood to party, I was excited to wear some fabulous Loubs.

They attracted quite a lot of attention to my feet, which always makes me feel a little uncomfortable when people keep looking at my feet. But I guess it comes with the territory. Fab shoes = lots of comments.

What I wore:
Black tee fron Nordstrom
JBrand waxed venom skinnies
Christian Louboutin Batik Python Lady Peeps

Life has been tough lately. 2010 and so far 2011 have been an emotional ride. I'm hoping things are going to get better soon and I'll feel like myself again.

It's going to be a gorgeous weekend here in SoCal, hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Weekend Getaway...La Jolla Shores

Last weekend hubs and I actually managed to escape from our every day lives and go on a mini vacation. We wanted rest and relaxation, so if course we went to my home away from home, La Jolla Shores. As mentioned in my last La Jolla post, my family has spent every summer there since I was born. La Jolla holds a lot of special childhood memories for me. It was a wonderful weekend of just doing whatever we wanted, for the first time in a long time we had no plans. We took a lot of walks, lounged by the pool and visited some of our favorite restaurants.
Here are a few quick pics of our great weekend.

On the Catwalk...Valentine's Style!

Valentine's Day was extra special this year. Not because traffic was better then usual, because it wasn't. Not because the lingerie department at Nordies was not filled with frantic husbands trying to buy last minute gifts, because they most certainly were. It was extra special because one of my best friends got engaged! I was so happy to be able to celebrate with her and her new fiance. They had dinner at The Bazaar in the SLS Hotel and we joined them afterwards for drinks.

Just realized I don't have any of our group shots available. Will add them asap!

What I wore:

Christian Louboutin Madame Butterfly Booties, last seen here
Louis Vuitton red epi clutch

Happy Friday!

On the Catwalk...Valentine's Style

Saturday night the hubs and I celebrated Valentine's Day with a delicious dinner at Crustacean in Beverly Hills. OMG, I had never been there before and wow the food was amazing! The decor was beautiful and most importantly the service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back!

I was really looking forward to going out and having a great time together. I was also thrilled to wear my new DVF "Lexi" jacket for the first time. Originally saw her at full price in September and patiently waited until sale season. Late December I strolled into Neiman's and there she was; crammed into a sale rack I spotted her from a mile away. I ran and grabbed her and could not believe that not only was she my size, but on sale plus an additional mark down! I practically ran over the sales lady as I headed to the register lol. Sorry for the dramatics, but I am sooooo excited to own this jacket!

P.S. I also got a hair cut! My stylist chopped off quite a bit, but he still refused to cut as much as I wanted him too.

Happy Valentine's Day!
