Hello everyone! I realize the time lapse between posts is getting quite long and sadly it will probably be worse in the coming month. Please don't leave me dear followers! I promise I will be back with loads of fashionable posts!
Lots of events coming up in the next two weeks, which means lots of differet outfits! Here is my look from this past weekend...
What I'm wearing:

Hope everyone is having a great short week, I know I'm ready for it to be Friday already!

Divine Design Gala
December 1st was the 19th Annual Divine Design Gala at the Beverly Hilton hotel. Divine Design is a wonderful shopping event and all the proceeds benefit Project Angel Food's mission to nourish the body and spirit of adults and children affected by HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses.
Designers such as Brooks Brothers, Diane Von Furstenberg, Elizabeth & James, Nanette Lepore, Tom Ford, Trina Turk, True Religion and many more were sponsors whose designs were all on sale for 50% off!
Thanks to one of my fabulous besties Cara (Travel Agent Extaordinaire), I was invited to attend this wonderful event with her. We were really excited to see some of the celebs that would be there, specifically Brad Goreski (aka former Rachel Zoe side kick). Being a fashionista myself, I was dying for a picture with Brad. I know you all would have loved to see such a great photo op, but I chickened out lol. So this is the closest we got...
Brad was wearing Brooks Brothers of course and I'd like to add that he is literally the size of one of my well toned pilates legs. I don't like guys being thinner then me, something just seems really wrong about that. We also noticed that Brad appears to have acquired a new side kick for himself. She's in the first picture above wearing the beige dress and Chanel pumps. Could there possibly be a Brad Goreski Project in the works?

Some pictures of the gala
There were a few people recognized for their hard work and dedication to Project Angel Food. One of these honorees was Kelly Osbourne.
Brad was also on hand to introduce the Brooks Brothers Spring fasion show
After the gala, it was back to more shopping and celeb spotting. We saw Brandy, David Arquette (yuck), Debi Mazar, Eric McCormack, Lily Collins and some SNL people (sorry I'm not familiar). I'm sure there were a lot more that we just didn't see, there were A LOT of people.
We had a fantastic time. It was great to spend some quality time with one of my nearest and dearest, it was long over due!
Happy Friday!

On the Catwalk...Two Weeks, Two Weddings
Let me start by apologizing for my long absence from the blogger world. I was really sick and my personal life has been taking a lot more of my time and energy these days. To make it up to you all, you get two looks in one post today! We had two weddings to attend in two weeks. At the first wedding I was so ridiculously sick, I don't know how I managed to even get dressed. The second wedding was fun and I think I saw everyone I haven't seen in the last five years. We have one more wedding coming up, then a nice break until July 2011. Then it starts all over again :)
Wedding #1
Wedding #2
Look #1
DVF strapless black wool dress, bought from Nordstrom in 2004.
YSL black patent Tributes
Louis Vuitton balck epi clutch (not pictured)
Rhinestone flower ring from Forever 21
Look #2
Marc by Marc Jacobs dress, bought from Net-A-Porter in 2008.
Christian Louboutin Titi in multi glitter.
Louis Vuitton black epi clutch (not pictured)
As you can all see there is a pattern of shopping in my closet for both of these looks. There is a lot on my "Want List" and a new dress for every wedding did not make the cut. I recycled and did a little mix and match with some previous looks. The hubs was thrilled I didn't run out to buy a new dress, but he has officially banned the Marc Jacobs dress from coming back out for at least two years!
Happy Wednesday.

On the Catwalk...Fundraising Fashion Show
Saturday was our Church's annual Fashion show and pop-up boutique. It was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village. I had never been there before and it was beautiful! I bumped into Kris Jenner in the lobby, which was some what exciting lol. We said hello and I refrained from inviting her to our event. She was really sweet and looked so fab! I on the other hand, was suffering from a painful eye irritation so I attended the event sans make up and in my glasses. I hope I pulled off the effortless, but fabulous "just threw something on" look.

What I'm wearing:
DVF Fleurette dress in Pink Wing
Christian Louboutin black suede Altadamas
Louis Vuitton black epi clutch
**Sorry I don't have any pictures of the event to share, in my defense I was running around partially blind :(
Happpy Halloween everyone! Stay stylish and be safe!

On the Catwalk...@ Rockwell
Friday night was our Best Man's birthday. We celebrated with about 100 of his closest friends at Rockwell in Hollywood. It's always fun to see everyone, but I was also excited to wear my new Elizabeth & James blazer with my new Rebecca Taylor leopard tank. Thanks to a small collection of Neiman's gift cards I had acquired, these purchases came out to be better then a "buy one get one free" deal.
The quality of these two pics are not great and my head is kind of chopped off in one, but I still love them because one of my besties decided to give me a little photoshoot :)
What I'm wearing:
Elizabeth & James white blazer from Neiman's
Rebecca Taylor leopard tank from Neiman's
Shiney black leggings from American Apparel
Christian Louboutin Madame Butterfly booties- last seen here
Black Louis Vuitton epi clutch
Not in a very chatty mood today, it's Monday, it's raining, I'd rather be home watching re-runs of The O.C. and the original 90210.....

On the Catwalk...Engagement Style
Saturday night was one of my very best friend's engagement party. She was one of my bridesmaids and we've known each other for YEARS. Bonus, her fiance is also one of my good friends and the hubs and him have a little bromance going on.
It was a gorgeous SoCal night and everything was so beautiful. Forgive me for the lack of scenery pictures. Sky high heels, champagne and grass do not work with me very well. I tried to stay in one area as long as possible and I'm really proud of myself for not falling down once.
We had a fabulous night with close friends, dancing, toasting and celebrating. So happy for the beautiful couple, can't wait for the wedding!
What I'm wearing:
Catherine Malandrino Silk Asymmetrical Ruched dress
Christian Louboutin nude patent Bianca's
Louis Vuitton black epi clutch
Alexis Bittar earrings
Happy Monday!

On the Catwalk....Company Gala
Saturday night was my company's 20th Anniversary Gala. It was a great event, the venue was beautiful and the planning committee really did a fabulous job. There were over 500 people in attendence and it's always nice to see everyone dressed up and outside of work.
The whole night flew by very quickly, but hubs my wonderful photographer did manage to take a few quick pics of my outfit.
What I'm wearing:
Marc by Marc Jacobs "Kitty" dress
Jimmy Choo "Samoa" cage sandals
Louis Vuitton epi clutch
Sorry for such a short post, but my real job is getting in the way today and I wanted to get this up before I head out for a business trip
tomorrow.
Happy Monday!

Fashion's Night Out, LA Part 2
Hi everyone! It has been ages since my last post I know. Before I get into my night at the DVF Fshion's Night Out event, check out the first half of my night on Fashion Face!
So after dragging the hubs around Beverly Center for a few hours and sitting through a fashion show (thank you baby), we headed over to Melrose, to check out the DVF event.
Quite a few people there and more arriving throughout the night. They had a bar set up with Champagne, White wine, water, cupcakes and little appetizers. One of the best food spreads we'd seen all night.
Me sipping Champagne...yes out of a pink can with a pink straw, so cute
Pretty stylish crowd as expected, the sales associates were not as friendly as they normally are but I'm sure they were pretty tired from smiling and greeting all night long.
I was really hoping to buy something, since the invite said there would be a gift with purchase. I was totally disappointed to find out the gift was a DVF eye mask. Sorry but while I appreciate designer goods, I could buy an eye mask from Target for $2.99. If I'm spending over $300, I'd like something a little more fab to keep as a memento of Fashion's Night Out.
Overall, it was a fun and exhausting night. Strutting around in 6 inch heels can be quite a workout.
Hubby's reward for putting up with it all? Going to Hot Wings Cafe for a very late dinner :)
Special thanks to Erika for asking me to do a guest post on Fashion Face.
Don't forget to follow her @fashionface13 on twitter for stylish fashion tweets!

On the Catwalk...Bridal Shower
Saturday was one of my childhood friend's bridal showers. It was a boiling hot SoCal day and the last thing I wanted to do was get dressed up. But I managed to wear something somewhat airy to prevent fainting on a hot August day.
What I wore:
Dress by Charlie Jade from Nordstrom (My 2 year old niece picked it out!)
YSL Tributes in black patent- Love these, need more colors!
Louis Vuitton epi clutch
Grey patent belt from Forever 21
Short post today, sorry guys. I hurt my knee and the thought of not being able to wear 5 inch stilettos this weekend makes me want to cry.
