One of my best friend's got married two weeks ago! This was the first of quite a few weddings we have coming up this year.
Hubs and I had an amazing time with all of our friends. Aria was even there for some of the festivities before she went to spend the night at grandma and grandpa's.
What I'm wearing:
Rasberry colored dress from Neiman's, LV Vernis clutch and Louboutin custom Dorado strass Pigalle Platos.
**Aria is wearing a custom headband, Baby Gap dress and shoes.

Last Night Out, New Year's Eve...Maternity Chic 35 weeks
Hello fashion lovers, please accept my apology...this post is 2 weeks late! New Year's Eve was officially my last night out in heels. I'm pretty proud that I lasted 35 weeks and know it will be just a little while longer until I'm back in my heels pushing baby girl's stroller.
I'm currently half way through my 37th week and baby girl can come at any time now. We just have to wait and see when she wants to say hello to the world :) Hubs and I just can't wait to see her little face and hold her in our arms.
In the mean time, here is a glimpse of what 35 weeks in 150mm heels looks like...

What I'm wearing:
Rachel Pally dress
David Lerner maternity leggings
Chanel necklace
Louis Vuitton epi clutch
Christian Louboutin Madame Butterfly Bootys
This is probably my last post for awhile. I want to thank all of you for the lovely compliments and words of encouragement throughout this wonderful and exciting time. I hope you don't stop checking in for updates and new posts. I'll be back and I promise I won't bore you all with diaper talk. Looking forward to working on my post baby body (Wedding Season is HUGE this year!), posting my looks and possibly some of baby girl's fabulous little outfits. She already has quite a shoe collection going. What can I say, Like mother like daughter...

Maternity Chic...24 Weeks
Last weekend, I did something I haven't done in months...I went out two nights in a row! By Sunday I was ready to collapse, but it was all worth it. We had a really fun weekend celebrating with friends.
Friday night was our best man's birthday at a bar in Hollywood (I'm drawing a blank on the name of the place). It has been sooooo long since I've been out that way, that I forgot how little girls wear to go out clubbing. Not that I didn't do the same, but I swear my skirts were never THAT short! I was quite covered up compared to some of the girls I saw around, but I still think I looked pretty hot for 24 weeks pregnant :)

What I'm wearing:
BCBG leather jacket
Tart tank
David Lerner maternity leggings (best investment ever!)
Louis Vuitton epi clutch
Christian Louboutin beige Yolanda Spikes
Saturday night we went to our friends' wedding. It was a lot of fun to see so many of our friends and to just be out all dressed up. I give myself major credit for wearing heels two nights in a row, but after standing and dancing for the better part of 8 hours I was done for. My poor feet could not take another minute.
Oh and I got a haircut! It's a little too short, but at the rate my hair is growing at these days it will be half way down my back again soon.

What I'm wearing:
More of Me maternity dress
Alexander McQueen skull clutch
Christian Louboutin black patent Lady Peeps
More to come this weekend, our last wedding of the year!
xoxo

On the Catwalk...Wedding Season is Here!
Hello Loves! It's my favorite time of year again, that's right Wedding Season has started earlier this year. This past Saturday was the first of five weddings we have coming up and also one fabulous engagement party :) I'm very happy and thankful that our lives are filled with such joyous and loving occasions.
Most of you know that I have not been feeling like my fabulous self lately, probably since the beginning of the year I have felt like a crazy person has taken over my body and my mind. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my own skin and that definitely takes a toll on my emotional state of mind.
With that said, doing one of my favorite activities (dressing up) was not as fun as it use to be. I have until July for this feeling to pass, just in time for my bestie's engagement party and two fabulous weddings.
In the mean time, here are some pics of my Catwalk look from Saturday night...

What I'm wearing:
BCBG dress- bought ages ago from I have no idea where
Brian Atwood rose gold Maniacs- Net-A-Porter
Louis Vuitton Vernis bronze clutch
Hope you're all having a fabulous week!
xoxo

On the Catwalk...Two Weeks, Two Weddings
Let me start by apologizing for my long absence from the blogger world. I was really sick and my personal life has been taking a lot more of my time and energy these days. To make it up to you all, you get two looks in one post today! We had two weddings to attend in two weeks. At the first wedding I was so ridiculously sick, I don't know how I managed to even get dressed. The second wedding was fun and I think I saw everyone I haven't seen in the last five years. We have one more wedding coming up, then a nice break until July 2011. Then it starts all over again :)
Wedding #1

Wedding #2

Look #1
DVF strapless black wool dress, bought from Nordstrom in 2004.
YSL black patent Tributes
Louis Vuitton balck epi clutch (not pictured)
Rhinestone flower ring from Forever 21
Look #2
Marc by Marc Jacobs dress, bought from Net-A-Porter in 2008.
Christian Louboutin Titi in multi glitter.
Louis Vuitton black epi clutch (not pictured)
As you can all see there is a pattern of shopping in my closet for both of these looks. There is a lot on my "Want List" and a new dress for every wedding did not make the cut. I recycled and did a little mix and match with some previous looks. The hubs was thrilled I didn't run out to buy a new dress, but he has officially banned the Marc Jacobs dress from coming back out for at least two years!
Happy Wednesday.

On the Catwalk...Bridal Shower
Saturday was one of my childhood friend's bridal showers. It was a boiling hot SoCal day and the last thing I wanted to do was get dressed up. But I managed to wear something somewhat airy to prevent fainting on a hot August day.

What I wore:
Dress by Charlie Jade from Nordstrom (My 2 year old niece picked it out!)
YSL Tributes in black patent- Love these, need more colors!
Louis Vuitton epi clutch
Grey patent belt from Forever 21
Short post today, sorry guys. I hurt my knee and the thought of not being able to wear 5 inch stilettos this weekend makes me want to cry.

On the Catwalk...OC Wedding Style
Saturday we headed down to the Newport Coast for my childhood family friend's wedding. It was truly the most gorgeous wedding I have ever been to. The ceremony and reception were at The Pelican Hill Resort. The view was breathtaking and it couldn't have been more perfect.
Cocktail hour was outside, lots of delicious appetizers going around and of course the champagne was flowing.
Look at the gorgeous sunset!
Yes the dress is the same dress I wore last weekend, but I did not want to buy a new dress. So I decided to glam it up for this special event. Paired with my glitter Louboutin Titi's and some jewelry took the look from day to night. I also want to add that after stretching out the Titi's for a few weeks, they fit so much better and I actually didn't have to slip them off my feet every 5 minutes!
I really should have taken pictures once we got to the reception, but I was too busy downing champagne and dancing the night away with the hubs. We had a fantastic time and got to spend time with old friends I hadn't seen in ages. Hubs took this picture of me as the night was coming to an end...
What I wore:
Dress from Anthropologie, last seen here
Glitter Titis by Christian Louboutin, last seen here
Louis Vuitton Vernis Amber clutch
Happy Monday!

On the Catwalk...Wedding Style
This past Saturday was the first of 6 weddings we have coming up! I was excited to finally wear my Herve Leger dress that I found for a steal on The Outnet with my CL Multi Glitter Titis that I bought from the signing in April.

Just got my hair highlighted again, what do you all think?

The hubs and I

Some pics playing with color, trying to be more arty :)

Friday Lust List...I Love you, but only on sale
I love both of these, but I really would never pay full price for them.

These Miu Miu jeweled flats are beautiful, but the price tag of $585, is not. At least, not for flats in my opinion. I will keep an eye on these and wait for sale time. If they are 40-50% off I will grab them.
By now, you can all tell how much I love DVF. This dress would be perfect for Wedding season, but I don't necessarily need it.

The Josun strapless mini dress is approximately $950 and just so not in my DVF budget. I know I spend ridiculous amounts of money on my shoes, but I take more chances with finding clothing on sale then I do with shoes that I absolutely am in love with. I will patiently wait and who knows, maybe the fashion Gods will decide this dress needs to join my DVF family.
Happy Friday! It's raining in SoCal again, but don't panic! Drive safely and we will see sunshine again shortly!

Wedding Style
I just finished reading Vision in White, which is the first book of four in The Bride Quartet by Nora Roberts. Since I am clearly taking a trip down memory lane, I decided to share some of my beautiful wedding photos with all of you. Let me start by saying I had the most amazing photographer in all of SoCal. Hoffmann Photographer is brilliant and made selecting my favorite photos a very difficult task. I can't wait to have another memorable event that he can document so beautifully for me.
I was his first Louboutin bride and we were both so excited they photographed so beautifully.
It was the most amazing day of my life and the best part of all was that from that day forward, I have come home to my best friend every day. I know what a lucky girl I am and I thank God everyday.
I do miss all the dress shopping though......can't wait to have another one of my girls get married so I can go again!
