Baby Shower...31 weeks!!!

Last Saturday was my baby shower :) I couldn't believe this day had come, seemed so far away. The fashionista goal was to be able to wear heels and yay I did it! It was a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends. Everyone is so excited for our little girl's arrival. She is already so loved and I can't wait to hold her in my arms.
Here are some pictures of the shower...

Maternity Chic...24 Weeks

Last weekend, I did something I haven't done in months...I went out two nights in a row! By Sunday I was ready to collapse, but it was all worth it. We had a really fun weekend celebrating with friends.

Friday night was our best man's birthday at a bar in Hollywood (I'm drawing a blank on the name of the place). It has been sooooo long since I've been out that way, that I forgot how little girls wear to go out clubbing. Not that I didn't do the same, but I swear my skirts were never THAT short! I was quite covered up compared to some of the girls I saw around, but I still think I looked pretty hot for 24 weeks pregnant :)

What I'm wearing:
BCBG leather jacket
Tart tank
David Lerner maternity leggings (best investment ever!)
Louis Vuitton epi clutch
Christian Louboutin beige Yolanda Spikes

Saturday night we went to our friends' wedding. It was a lot of fun to see so many of our friends and to just be out all dressed up. I give myself major credit for wearing heels two nights in a row, but after standing and dancing for the better part of 8 hours I was done for. My poor feet could not take another minute.

Oh and I got a haircut! It's a little too short, but at the rate my hair is growing at these days it will be half way down my back again soon.

More to come this weekend, our last wedding of the year!

Maternity Chic...23 Weeks

Hello lovelies!!! It has been a busy few weeks around here, with me and with the baby. We found out that in a few short months we will have a daughter! That's right, if the shoe fits, this little princess is set to inherit a pretty fabulous shoe collection in the future. We are beyond excited and have been busy running around designing her room and getting things ready. She has been busy growing and practicing her soccer skills on mommy :) She is kicking me as I type this...amazing feeling.

Here are a few outfit and bump pics from the past week :)

Please excuse the very messy background.

This is it for now, I must mention that there will be a lot of repeat pieces in my outfits for the upcoming weeks since I refuse to purchase a whole new wardrobe. I've bought a few key pieces (mostly on sale!) and I am going to do my best to mix and match with whatever still works in my current wardrobe. Should be fun to see what I come up with!

On the Catwalk...Fundraising Fashion Show

Saturday was our Church's annual Fashion show and pop-up boutique. It was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village. I had never been there before and it was beautiful! I bumped into Kris Jenner in the lobby, which was some what exciting lol. We said hello and I refrained from inviting her to our event. She was really sweet and looked so fab! I on the other hand, was suffering from a painful eye irritation so I attended the event sans make up and in my glasses. I hope I pulled off the effortless, but fabulous "just threw something on" look.

DVF Fall Fashion

I love DVF. Season after season she rarely disappoints me. Specifically Fall is always a big hit. The vibrant and rich colors always add some sparkle to what can be a gloomy and grab time of the year. Here are some new Fall pieces that caught my eye.

"Julian" Wrap Dress in Brambles Beet print
Photobucket
Every girl should own at least one DVF wrap dress. In my opinion, they are a wardrobe staple that can be worn for years to come. A wrap dress can be dressed up or down with the right shoes and accessories. A Bonus, I think a wrap dress universally looks good on every body type.

"Heirloom Arturo" Leather Jacket
Photobucket
I can almost feel how yummy and rich this leather must be like. Leave it to DVF to take a military style and give it a feminine twist. I love that it is form fitting and the details are amazing. The brass buttons, double zipper, pockets, stitching...perfection.

"Gunita" printed mini skirt
Photobucket
This skirt looks so fun and I love the colors. It would never look good on me, but I still think it's beautiful. I really like how it's peeking out from under the loose black sweater. Gives it a casual fun feel.

"Tabalah" in Decofly print
Photobucket
I love the Tabalah style that DVF has been bringing back for the past few seasons. I have one from Spring '09, scene here. Again the colors and the print are beautiful. The blues and greens compliment each other perfectly. I'm trying to stay away from blue and green DVF dresses, becasue I own four of them already. Maybe if this one goes on sale, I'll make it five :)

I'm off to La Jolla for 5 relaxing days at the beach. I can't wait to just be there already! Will try my best to post outfits while I'm there, but I may have to wait until I get back next week.

Happy Friday!

Gossip Girl Parisian Style

Every where I look all signs are pointing to the fact that I WILL be in Paris next Summer. So excited to see Blake Lively filming scenes for Gossip Girl in Paris. Take a look at these amazing outfits, what I'd do for a day in this wardrobe department!
Photobucket
photo and more info found here

Loving the beautiful emerald green ruffle dress, looks like the same amazing green as Carrie's Lanvin dress at the end of SATC 2. Also loving the cobalt blue cropped pants with the gold sequin blazer and of course the studded Atwoods SWOON!

These pics make me excited for the return of Gossip Girl in the Fall. I'm ready for my weekly fix of the scandalous yet fashionable lives of those on the Upper East side, or in this case on the Rive Gauche.

SJP Style

Photobucket

Nicholas Kirkwood, where ever you are out there, we need to be friends. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw these beauties on SJP's feet. OMG!
Photobucket

To my dismay I can't even find this exact color combo anywhere to get a better look. I found the shoes here, but not in the same color scheme.

She's wearing Blumarine by the way, but I'm too distracted by these beauties to care about what else she is actually wearing.

Can't wait for tomorrow night! Two solid hours of fashion overload, it's like a fashion-O-gasm. Two years of waiting is almost over!

Happy hump day!

Meeting Msr. Louboutin!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Every Louboutin obsessed female and male knew the Christian Louboutin boutique on Robertson was the place to be on April 28th. Some devoted fans flew in from across the country to be there to have the Man himself sign the soles of their beautiful Louboutins. I overheard one girl say they are like wearing a signed piece of art and I couldn't agree more.

I was told there would be two lines, the "A" line was for anyone who made a purchase that day, the "B" line was for anyone who bought their shoes anywhere else. I had zero intentions of buying another pair and took my Nude patent Biancas with me. I figured I'd make some friends while spending 7 hours or so in the "B" line. That is until I got to the boutique and saw these gorgeous beauties calling my name....

Photobucket

I finally got to meet some of my tpf friends in person. It's always nice to finally meet some one personally.

After anxiously waiting a few hours the moment arrived!

Msr. Louboutin was soooooo nice I couldn't believe it. Truly made me feel like I could just chat with him forever. Plus, he signed both my pairs! Take a look at my signed works of art.
