Been Bit by the Travel Bug

The past two years have been filled with quite a bit of travel and many weddings (including my own). Some of the highlights include the following....
My Bachelorette Party in South Beach (June 2008)

I can never get tired of Miami, I love it there. We were 8 girls and had the best time. Thanks to the Travel Agent to the Stars, The Alleged Ringleader, we spent 4 amazing nights at the gorgeous Tides on Ocean Drive.
Our Honeymoon in St. Lucia (July 2008)

It was the perfect honeymoon. Tropical paradise is the best description. We stayed the Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa and Beach Resort. There aren't enough words to explain how beautiful it was.

Best Friend's Bachelorette Party in Vegas (September 2009)

Looking ahead at 2010, there is only one wedding on my calendar and a lot of free time left to plan some trips. My mind is all over the place. I want to go to New York again, then Miami (for the 4th time), and of course good old Vegas. Europe is out of the question until the dollar gains back some of it's strength, it makes no sense to fly all the way there and pay close to double for my shoes. Most of the country is probably freezing right now, but here in lovely SoCal it's 75 degrees today. I'm ready to put on my bikini and sip on a drink poolside.
In reality, I don't know where we'll actually end up going this year. Being a home owner means we need a new roof and possibly a new backyard fence this year. It sucks, but they are necessities to keep a roof over our heads and to keep the neighbor's a-hole dog on their side of the fence. Until we decide, I get to fantasize in my head thinking of what to pack and where to go.....

  2. I love it! Miami (both times we went together)was the time of my life! I just know that 30 years from now, when looking back on my life, this trip will stand out as one of the best decisions and best times EVER!
The fact that we made a pact in 2006 that we could come to SoBe for your bachelorette party (when you weren't even dating anyone and had no marriage prospects) and for my 30th birthday and ACTUALLY managed to pull it off was amazing! It was like fate that you and the hubs started dating right after our Miami trip and that you got engaged and the bachelorette party just happened to coincide with my 30th bday! We were tres chic living the life of luxury in SoBe! I miss it so much and seeing our pretty little heart faces on here makes me NEED to go back right away!!!
Also, you were so famous in NYC shopping and living ala Carrie Bradshaw!
